Exotic Spices Chicken Masala
INGREDIENTS
- 1 Kg Chicken
- 4 Tomatoes, sliced
- 2 Onions, sliced
- 1 Tbsp Dried Mustard seeds
- 2 Stems of Curry leaves
- 2 Tbsp Ginger
- 5 Cloves of Garlic
- ¾ Tbsp of Exotic Spices Chilli powder
- 2 Tbsp of Exotic Spices chicken masala
- Salt as required
- 2 Potatoes, peeled and diced (Optional)
METHOD
- Make a paste of ginger and garlic.
- Cut the chicken into curry cuts and marinate with 1 Tbsp of salt and let it rest.
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add the dried mustard seeds and let them crackle. Destem and add the curry leaves followed by the ginger garlic paste.
- Saute and once the raw smell of ginger is no more add the 2 sliced onions and continue to saute till onions turns light brown.
- Add 2 tbsp of Exotic Spices chicken masala and ¾ tbsp of chilli powder and salt as required and saute.
- Add the 4 sliced tomatoes and cook till it forms a semi thick gravy.
- Add the1kg chicken and saute for 5 mins.
- Add the 2 diced potatoes and ½ cup of water. (Optional)
- Close the lid wait for a whistle.
- Serve hot with some chapati
